Your Volunteer time at Giant City State Park is really helpful and appreciated.
We're all aware of the staff and funding shortages at our state parks and other departments. The work of unpaid volunteers is now even more important to keep the parks clean, the trails open, and the Visitors Center functioning. Even a few hours a month would be very appreciated at Giant City State Park.
Some Volunteer Options Are:
Serving as greeters at the Visitors Center
Taking care of the landscaping at the Visitors Center
Becoming a bluebird box monitor
Removing invasive plant species
Adopting a trail for trash pickup and reporting tree problems
